It was a good half of the season for our junior members of the club.ย Mary Esther, Junior Coordinator for the club says, “congratulations and a big thank you to all the coaches, volunteers and parents for their help throughout this part of the season! They are always brilliant! The Juniors are a vital part of this club and without their helpย every Sunday morning it wouldn’t be as vibrant as it is”.
All ages within the Junior section have been successful during this half of the season. The under 14’s and under 16’s have had good results with their coaches, Ann Dermody, Ronnie and Nora Lee.
From 12 years down to 4, all the young members have been enjoying their dynamic and fun Sunday hockey sessions. On Sunday 8th, the under 12’s took part in a hockey blitz with Sutton in Glasnevin.
The man of the hour, Mr Santa Claus will be paying the Juniors a visit on Sunday 15th of December to mark the last day of hockey before the Christmas period.
Everyone in the Junior section of the club is looking forward to an even better 2014!
