Botanic was not left untouched by the recent bad storms.ย The high nets surrounding the entire pitch had to be fixed due to the recent high winds. It took 3,000 hooks toย re-fixย the nets and return the pitch to it’s pristine condition.
It has also taken great effort from our regularย maintenanceย man, John Donnelly to sort out the pavilion and area around the pitch. There was major water damage to the floor boards in the club house, which Johnย and his colleague completely replaced, and made as good as new.
The Committee would like to thank everyone involved in keeping the pitch maintained and in such good condition, so that everyone can enjoy it.ย
