There was more success in the club this week with two more of our teams reaching finals. The Under 16s won the semi final of their league. They beat Muckross 3-1 on Sunday and now march on to the final which takes place on 30th March. A big congratulations to them for their success in the league so far and well done to their dedicated coach, Anne Dermody and to the Junior Coordinator, Mary Esther English for all her support.
The 4ths also had a win in their cup (division 11/12) semi final on Sunday. They were playing Rathgar out in High School. It was never going to be an easy game, especially since the 4ths had only played them the previous Wednesday in the league and had lost 2-0. This time however, the tables were turned and Botanic ground out a win to beat Rathgar 2-0. It was a well fought game and next up is Bray in the final of the cup and this will take place on Saturday, 5th April.
