The Juniors of Botanic continue to be a very vibrant and important part of the club during the season. Teams have visited Glasnevin from Portrane, Sutton, Clontarf and Skerries. The dedicated coaches and parents always work hard to welcome everyone every Sunday and teas and baked treats are always provided to all.
The under 16’s team, in particular, have done consistently well in their Leinster league this season, finishing in second place position. The team will also be competing in a semi final on Sunday, 30th March. A big congratulations to the team and to their coach, Anne Dermody.
There is plenty more junior hockey to come over the next few weeks and no doubt there will be more success for the younger members of the club.
