Read up on the new rules that are being implemented in all games and across all divisions this season. There have been changes to the long corner, and frees outside the circle.
There have also been changes in cup competitions too – instead of flicks taking place in a match decider after extra time, it will be the eight second competition rule that will be used. This involves the player coming up against the keeper, and the player has eight seconds to score a goal by running at the goalie from the 25 yard line.
